Since you opened your request about almost baking into a boulder, I am going
to assume you are looking for a reverse light and not a "fog" light while
driving forward. If this is the case farm implement and tractor lights come
singly. Why not buy a pair and have a spare?

Your choice.

While installing my auxiliary driving lights recently I discovered that my
'87 Westy has a wire for the rear fog light; even though it didn't come with
a rear fog light, which would lead me to believe that all Westies were
pre-wired for the rear light... check your Bentley wiring diagram for the
appropriate color.

The OEM fog light switch has three positions... off, back on, front on.
The advantage here is that you can use the rear light for driving and
general illumination with only the switch on and the transmission not in
reverse.

Dave...I don't mean to sound snobbish or uppity, and anyone who knows me
wouldn't accuse me of being a spendthrift, BUT $10 for a spare (second)
light isn't too much to spend... OR why not use two as reverse lights?
