The Norton 2002 on my computer routinely detects klez and promptly quarantines it with no problem. If you have old definitions, it will get past, and then disable your anti-virus, but recent definitions have no problem catching it. The real key with anti-virus programs is to update the definitions online at least once a week. Since I have an always on connection, I have Norton set to update every day.
