Vanagons of all years were either "L" or "GL" unless you have the Wolfsburg Edition or an earlier Champagne Edition. Some late model vans have fiberglass bumpers and the deluxe heated/power mirrors. I'm sure that there are other options that I've never seen. Vanagons came in standard 7 passenger. Weekender models had a few amenities like queen size sleeper bed and portable 12v refrigerator. I've seen Westy Pop Tops with just the weekender package. Some later models of weekender have a fold down table in front of the rear facing jump seats. So all in all it could be a very specific interior arrangement that came in special order or just what the dealer preferred to sell in his specific geographic location.
