You shouldn't need them for the rear, unless you just want to keep the fronts and rears equidistant. I was really surprised I need them in the front, as these same rims (15" Mercedes) worked great on my '73 westy. So I'm still looking, don't know how thick they have to be, but I'm thinking that if I can find some 15mm (or 1/2") ones, I'll be able to use the caps that fit over the center hole. I didn't really have to open up the hubs at all on these.

I know I need to have the center hole opened up ( is 62mm right?), and I know I need spacers for the front wheels. (how thick?). Do I also need spacers for the back wheels? Thanks for any help. > George > "85 Westfalia
