Subject: HELP!!!!! EV serpentine belt tension
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I've got a buddy with a 93 EV who's on the phone with me right now from Cleveland. He's broken his serpentine belt.

He's got the correct belt, but can't figure out how to get it back on and tensioned. He thinks that he has the tensioner at the top, but can't figure out how to loosen it to get the belt around it.

I've never even looked at a EV engine, but I'm guessing that it has an eccentric tensioner like the one on my TDI timing belt.

If anyone can give me info on how to do this so I can relay it to him it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
