A guy I knew back in the 80's, had a Dasher. Someone kept stealing his radio. He glued razor blades to the back of the 3rd replacement. Well, regardless of the blood all over the interior and having the sh#t kicked out of the passenger side of the car, his radio was never stolen again.

Abstinence. No, really now, it is common knowledge that the greasers during the fifties were known to line their fender skirts with razor blades in order to prevent theft. Sure. While I cannot attest to that, I did once see the bloody trail left by the one too many drunks who tried to tear down the hanging sign over the entrance to my buddy's go-go bar (known today as a gentlemen's club).

It takes some balls to do something like this. But, more importantly, it takes even more presence of mind whenever the van is taken in to have the coolant changed.
