Either get into Colorado on Friday or wait until Monday. If you know you are definitely buying the vehicle, overnight the money order, certified check or whatever to the seller, and the required transfer forms for your state, then have him overnight the title or registration to you and register it at home before traveling out. This is how I usually do out of state purchases.
