Hi Andrew,

the course had -two or three longer straights 200..600m, (I am bad at guessing), a wide S curve (which gets quite narrow at 120km/h ;-) ) and some sharps corners. Top speed with my Vanagon 2,8V6 was something near 160km/h. Average speed (stated by my bordcomputer) was 97km/h.

Man, that was fun. The first time on a race track, trying to get as fast as possible. The first three laps were testing and judging the track, but then... I would drive the course again and again if it wasnŽt 7 hours from Bremen :-(

www.hockenheimring.de -> "auf dem Ring" -> "Map" -> "Motodrom" then youŽll get a map of the new course. I drove the old one.

Raimund

Looks nice. What speeds do you guys get up to? Hard cornering, or is it just a drivearound? -- Regards Andrew
