This is my first post to this list. Wish I had something more profound but this is a VW pricing experience. I needed a 12 inch long piece of weather stripping for my Cabriolet (between the window and the cloth top.) I ordered it and when I went to pick it up at the VW dealer, they guy said, "That will be $109. I thought he was joking so I said, "I don't think so." He said, "OK, how about $76?" I said, "No thanks and bought a 20 foot roll of weather stripping from a hardware store. It's not form fitting but it stopped the whistling. Someone once told me parts places have three prices. The clerk determines which he/she can get away with. Is this true? Tom Hubbard
