You got ahead of yourself. No spark from the cap could be: bad HT lead, cracked cap or rotor, bad coil, bad points, bad condenser, no volts to coil, broken point plate ground wire, shorting points/condenser wire.

If you have electronic ignition, forget the points/condenser. Could then also be Hall sender and/or ignition module or shorting Hall sender wires.

Follow Bentley diagnostics step by step to find the culprit.
