With the exception of a few listees who I know very well I don't think I would ever send anybody anything without getting payment up front.

If you really want to sell something, and they don't want to pay up front consider using an escrow service like:

http://www.escrow.com

In this way the buyer pays the third party, the seller ships the goods to the buyer, the buyer then has a short period of time to inspect the goods, at which point they release the funds to the seller. A pretty safe way to do things. Of course there is a cost involved, but its really "the price of insurance".

Thanks, Chris
