Subject: 2.1L WBX to TDI conversion - Can it be done?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

All,

All this discussion about TDI's has me thinking about converting my '88 Wolfsburg from gas to diesel power.

What am I getting myself into here? Is this a conversion that is even remotely feasible?

BTW my '88 is an automatic (recently rebuilt) and has A/C. Would the auto tranny be able to handle the TDI?

Any input, favorable or otherwise, is appreciated!

TIA,

Jim Bowen Round Rock, TX '88 Wolfsburg (LOLA)
