Mine has had similar problems when cold (relatively)and today it ran when I drove it out of the garage but wouldn't re-start after I washed it. While checking out the injectors, I found that one of the small seals had cracked and was leaking. I replaced it temporarily with a seal made from a really short piece of 5/16" id fuel line and it has been running fine since. Mine was stumbling off the line and at the beginning of each gear slightly and that seems to have cleared up also.

I had installed all new injector seals when I redid the engine compartment fuel lines two years ago. The fuel lines still look good, but all four of the small injector seals were beginning to dry-rot. I will replace all of them next week when I source the replacements.

Good luck,
