I'm about ready to start converting my syncro over to an I4, and I'm looking to sell the old 2.1. I have no idea how many miles are on the engine; the van has 170K. It's been a reasonably strong runner since I drove it home from LA 4 months ago, and it does fine in the mountains (albeit, slowly) when we go camping. Compression: 1- 85 2- 104 3- 95 4- 100 No coolant leaks, but the area around the head gaskets has always looked very slightly damp. The alternator and power steering pump would not be included. There is no A/C compressor. AFAIK, oil changes have always been with 20W-50, and regularly scheduled. So, what's it worth? -Simon |
