The battery is fully charged. Measured 12 volts at the connector going from
the soleniod to the starter. Measured the 8v at the connector that goes to
the ignition switch. Apparently there is a significant voltage drop on that
circuit. That is why they have the low voltage kits. I guess to be safe I
should install one of those kits. What I am most concerned with is the play
in the motor itself. Is this normal or should I go for a replacement.
