Thanks for all the replies on this. For the archives, the two jets were getting weaker and weaker, then the switch (on the steering column) started smoking. In the spirit of "try the easy answer first", I removed the steering wheel and wiper switch. I held the brass contacts apart and used 600 grit sandpaper on all four surfaces (two for rear, two for front). Put it all back together, and the jets now shoot over the top of the westy. So after readjusting them, they're very happy.... tx, bmc :) "Faith will move mountains, but you'd better bring a shovel...." |
