Folks, The Mudskipper is heading to my local Vanagon expert for a complete coolant flush-n-fill on Monday BUT the coolant is getting low and I'm heading on a roadtrip this weekend. I have no idea what kind of coolant the PO put in there: it's green, but in our pre-sale discussions he seemed acutely aware of the requirement for phosphate-free coolant. So: what would you top the tank off with? I've got three bottles of OEM blue goo ready for Monday, but I understand that mixing coolant types is bad news. Best, d. 1990 GL -- "Mudskipper" |
