Chips in the paint abound, most of which could have been prevented with some sort of protective cover. There are a couple that are actually dents from rocks, nothing would have stopped that. There is a kit that may be available soon for application to the front end of the Vanagon specifically, to protect the paint somewhat. It is a heavy duty vinyl that came out on race cars sometime ago, and before that was used on helicopter rotors I believe. Kit comes precut with tools and instructions for installation.
