Mine does that too. Non self-priming pump, I would think. For mine, I just uhmm... well... uhmm... well I... should I say it... Well I *uck (with an "s") at the faucet while the motor is turning and it starts right up. Note that it just have to do this once for a full tank and I have good water flow therafter.

Trying to figure out what might be wrong with my sink pump. When you turn the knob on the faucet, it makes a noise and looking at the pump itself, it spins around like it should and i can see a little water in the tube but it just seems to go back and forth and nothing makes it to the sink. I read in the manual that you should turn the knob on and off in 10 second intervals to get it started but that didn't work either. Has anyone ever had this trouble? ~Gordy
