To tow a syncro you must either have all four wheels on the ground and use a tow strap towing bar or somesuch but only for short distances. For a long tow you can disconnect the prop shaft at the transmission end, tie it out of the way, raise the front wheels and tow or you can put it on a flatbed. I've done all three. The flatbed is my personal choice. The VC senses the difference in wheel rotation and will try to drive the front wheels to match the towed speed. |
