Dan, Put a towbar in your van and rent a pick up truck. Seriously, my extensive travels last year involved AAA tows of 85 miles in W VA (distributor rotor disintegrated), 20 miles in MA (brake caliper bolt fell off), and 50 miles (at midnight) in UT (ignition switch). This doesn't count the local tows for a new clutch and alternator. Admittedly, this was for three different vans, but you get the idea.
