This is the same thing you can get from the Good Sam Club (www.goodsamclub.com) for the same
price, as well as being available to President's Club members at Campingworld
(www.campingworld.com) also at the same price. The down side is that you have no choice
whatsoever as to where they tow it if you want it covered. They have a list of their
(authorized) repair facilities, and they cover the tow to the nearest one, period. AAA gives
me 100 miles to any destination of my choice, not theirs. The problem with AAA for me (I am
already a member) is that they haven't covered RVs in the past. (They don't consider my Westy
to be an RV, and have towed it several times over the years.) They will be covering full size
RVs next month, if that matters to anyone else but me on the list. Their rep told me $30 per
year to add RV coverage to your membership. Again, AAA will already tow a Westy.
I have to agree that on a long trip, a AAA card, cell phone, and credit card make up a very
effective repair kit.
Bill
