Check all the vacuum hoses and the intake boot. Check the throttle position switch adjustment. Also check the Temp II sensor and fuel pressure regulator.

My '85 suffered a serious stumbling when accelerating off idle that was caused by several problems. Most of it was cured by properly adjusting the TPS and replacing the vacuum hoses and intake boot.
