As has been pointed out on the list by several members on numerous occasions, the T3 does NOT have a high cog. And if fitted with decent tires it has huge footprints compared to anny Mini.

There are enough sporty cars as heavy or heavier than the T3 which are regarded as chuckable... it's not as if it's anywhere near 2 tons, after all (a camper is another matter).

NZ is full of tight twisty roads, and I can confirm that at least the T1 (with a load in the back preferably if lacking a swaybar) and T2 are indeed chuckable. The steering is responsive enough and the bus changes direction quite rapidly.

Try it some time. You might get a surprise. Ignore a cocked rear wheel... may look dramatic, but doesn't affect the cornering. -- Andrew Grebneff 165 Evans St, Dunedin 9001, New Zealand <andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut
