FYI, I bought some VW floor mats (OE carpet with VW logo in the middle). They lasted only one year before I had very worn heal marks and so on...I now buy carpet "off the roll" at my friendly Menards store. This is the carpet you usually put in hallways and so on as a place to keep dirt off the "real" carpet. I cut the shape out from my old VW mats. This stuff is CHEAP and strong I can be replaced every year. It is also thin enough to lay and conform to your bends and curves. Works great for me. I can buys tons of this stuff for what the OEM VW mats cost and it looks new and clean every year.
