Subject: storing/parking bus in LA?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I'm looking for an apartment in LA and need storage/parking, preferably garage storage for my 83 Westfalia. I might even consider garaging the bus on a permanent basis once I find an apartment if the garage is affordable. But for now juggling two vehicles without a permananet spot to live is cumbersome.

Does anyone suffer a similar fate in LA and has found a solution in the way of an affordable garage or long term (a few weeks) parking for their bus.

The deal is I can most likely find an apartment with one parking space, but I have my bus and a VW Fox. The Fox is easier for the get around town, while I use the bus for camping and the like. Apartments with 2 parking spaces do exist but are mostly out of my price range. (of course street parking one vehicle is an option--but the garage could be sweeter).

At any rate I suppose it would be helpful to store the bus for a few weeks, and anyone who has found a spot out here, I would appreciate the tip.

(The landlord sold the Burbank house and me an my roommates decided to go out in the cruel world and all live solo. Man I miss that garage and driveway-- The roommates...well?)

TIA Jeff 83.5 Westfalia LA,CA
