"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" Look a little closer. I would guess that the seal in the area that sags is rusted. There is a metal clamp/channel of sorts that is molded into the rubber seal. This metal clamp grabs the fiberglass and holds the seal in place. When it rusts, it doesn't grab onto the fiberglass anymore.

You might try gluing it in place with weatherstrip adhesive. 3M makes it and you can find it at NAPA. Comes in a tube like toothpaste, and is made in yellow and black - I used black but they are the same as far as I know. It's a contact adhesive, meaning you put some in the seal groove and on the lip of the pop-top, let it dry for 5 minutes, then push the seal into place. Put masking tape on the pop-top along the line of the seal...this goop is hard to remove from a porous fiberglass surface, so keep it from going where you don't want it in the first place.

Hope That Helps..... Joe in CO 84 Westy 77 Targa
