Subject: Q: Non-camper Westfalia Interiors
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Greetings:

I searched the archives for this topic using various combinations and abbreviations and came up empty. Hard to believe that this subject has not been covered on the list. My 91 Carat passenger van has a Westfalia interior. The rear seat base has a small metal Westfalia badge attached to it. The vehicle has the standard Carat passenger van interior; rear facing jump seats, center table, captains chairs up front with adjustable arm rests, etc. No camping equipment, just the standard passenger van setup in Carat trim. Which passenger vans contain a Westy interior? Did Westfalia install all of the passenger van interiors, or just the later models with club car seating (Wolfsburg and Carat packages)? Or what? Did VW install the interiors on the earlier Vanagons (GL models)? Does anyone know? I suspect that this is the case. Which models of passenger van have a Westy badge affixed and what is their layout?

===== Dennis Lockwood 91 Carat Original Owner
