I got mooned OK. Somebody spent boo-koos on this van before they split it in a divorce. It has been converted to 12v, it has a super oil cooler, it has a remote oil filter, it has the extension oil pan that holds an extra 2.5 quarts (with a 110v oil warmer), its running the late model type 2 transmission and drive axles, it had dual port heads and all in all the engine compartment looks as if it might be a recent engine. It holds 30 Psi oil pressure at 100 degrees Celsius oil temp idling at 850 rpms. The oil needle will jump up to 50+ at an estimated 2500 rpms. It has a full Westy Interior for the year of manufacture which turns out to be 1966. I investigated the jack points and they are all still there in very good condition. Ninety eight percent of the rust in this vehicle is where the PO started sanding after having minor body work done on a few locations. As part of the deal there are about sixty pounds of (going to but never did) new parts still in the boxes. I haven't taken an inventory but its considerable value. Once again I'm a happy camper.
