Well since you didn't mention it, it could be all your starter problems have to do with poor ground strap at the tranny and/or quicky Chinese replacement terminals and cooroded battery cables. Quite the contrary to your experience, I have solved dozens of hot start VW issues with these basic maintenance principles involved, and no aux relays at all. Many times just these basic principles allowed REMOVAL of the jurris rigus relay and restoration of the system to stock, ergo, proper function. And of the hundreds of Bosch ReMan starters and alternators and distributors I have installed, I've had 2 comebacks only, both covered by warranty.
