Subject: VDO Coolant Temp Gauge installation in a 1990 2.1L....Need
              Suggestions
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello All:

My mechanic has been trying to install an VDO Coolant temp gauge in my 1990...I bought the gauge and a T-fitting along with a 10mm screw-in sender from the same outfit (Egauges). It was suppose to all go together (so I could use both gauges)...but the mechanic has informed me that the original temp sending unit (to the dash) is a large plug type...not the 10mm type that would fit in one side of the T fitting. Any suggestions as to how I might make this work? Anywhere else I could screw the VDO sender into to get a reading on coolant? Please get back to me...as the van is at the shop and I'd like her back by tonight.

Cheers! kevindobrien@yahoo.com
