Subject: VDO Coolant Gauge Sender Mystery "partially" solved....but need
              install ideas.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello All:

Earlier I posted the problem of using a VDO "T fitting" to keep the original Coolant temp sender/gauge as well as install a VDO Gauge and sender. I got this idea from a list member who did it to his Syncro...and the folks at egauges sent the components.

BUT...I just found out my 1990 Carat and the 87 Syncro have 2 different temp sender set-ups. The Syncro has a screw-in sender...Carat has a push-plug. Ooooops.... (I'm sure neither the list member or the guy at egauges was aware of this)

So...Can anyone recommend a spot to drill & tap a hole to install the VDO Sender? (10mm hole) Any and all constructive advice appreciated.

Cheers! kevindobrien@yahoo.com
