Sorry for the no subject line:

Some folks asked for more pictures, so here they are. If you're on standard modem it might tale a while although the pictures are all reduced and compressed. http://www.williamwareagency.com/forsale/67van.htm I started about 10AM this morning to lay waste the this here 1966 Splittie Westfalia. You'll find the before, in the middle and all of the engine and drive line FuFu. Hopefully I'll have some after pictures. It took about three attempts for me to get the valves just right on adjustment but it humming about as good as any engine I've seen with an unknown hot cam in it. It still wants to backfire a little at about 4500 rpms. I'll address that when I get a manual or some qualified replys. At any rate, ugly as she "Road Kill" is, she's a driver and I'm going to paint the interior back to the OEM and let Maaco get as close as possible on the outside. Some interesting things are the heater in the extended oil pan, the ceramic fuel filter, the drain for the oil cooler, the giant remote oil filter, the alternator conversion, the K&G air cleaners and the degreed drive pulley for the alternator, the Type IV drive line conversion and shock absorbers about 3" in diameter. If you see anything that I missed just drop me a note.
