Subject: need front turn signal lens - anyone have an extra?
Content-Type: text/plain

I just moved to New Orleans from Fort Collins, CO for a job, and my vanagon misses that cool, dry, Colorado air. During my weeks here, I've only seen one other westfalia, so I think that it's time to start searching the help wanted ads back in CO.

Meanwhile, as I was parked on St. Charles street, someone hit the driver's front corner leading a significant dent, cracked bumper end cover (typical anyway), and shattered turn signal lens. Unfortunately, the offender did not leave a note, and I don't carry collision insurance. The body on my '87 wasn't perfect, but it's always a little sad when someone drives into it without a care.

So, if anyone has a spare driver's side turn signal lens that they could send to me, I'd appreciate it. I'd go to a junkyard here to look, but I have a suspicion that I'd come up empty handed.

Thanks, David
