Allow enough time for an engine pull. Use the right tools for the job(S!), and, even so, prepay your busted-knuckle insurance premium. Think ahead and buy all of those seals and hoses you need to replace while the engine is out. An adequate supply of Spaten Premium beer (seasonal Oktoberfest version if avail in your locale) and a glossary of the latest, high impact curse words will be useful as well. Jay, and the last vanagon camper in Indiana (FS).
