Outlook gives a great feature in the Rules Wizard. It can look through the subject and the message for certain names, terms, words, phrases, and will send the message straight to the trash can.

On a large list like Vanagon, I find this rule very handy, as it is usually the same people who make the inflammatory remarks. I never see any of their posts. From the Inbox "TOOLS" menu, click Rules Wizard. Takes care of SPAM too, if you've already re-mortgaged your house, enlarged your manhood, and have all the investment opportunities you can handle.

I don't blame you. And I don't understand how personal attacks advance the dialogue.

I subscribe to this list for information, ideas, opinions and the collective experience of the listmembers. (And, of course, the continuing adventures of Stan Wilder.) I weigh what I read against my own experience, and take it or leave it accordingly.

Maybe it's easier to blast away behind the facade of e-mail. I can't imagine most people saying some of the stuff I read here to anyone's face.
