just got through with an examination of my old 91 jetta an believe that i am in need of a cv, in tank fuel pump, and transmission. So my curiosity of various engine swaps has suddenly gotten a new outlook. The jetta is an RV series engine with digi injection. As they all used the same series transmissions i am assuming that the same setup would be used as in the use of CIS engines. The question is...why do all the engine swaps seem to be CIS engines and no digi? is there some kind of difficulty here? thanks jimt westydriver |
