Check out U-Haul's online site. http://www.uhaul.com/ I've just been investigating renting a U-Haul trailer myself & found online that my towing configuration was "recommended" after providing vehicle details & trailer type. This is part way through the online reservation process. You first have to join to get a free membership with password. So, the individual U-Haul operator may do the same thing; i.e., they may depend upon a common database which you can access. //Jack On 17 Sep 2002, at 12:04, David Brodbeck wrote: > On Tue, 17 Sep 2002, Jeff Kennedy wrote: > > > Just don't let them know what you're towing with it, if you're not > > renting a U-Haul truck...I had a F-150 with a tow package, rated for > > something like 7200 lbs, and they wouldn't rent it to me. > > Odd.
