A little bit ago, i inquired about how to repad the seats of an '84 westy... responses were essentially "go captain" (totally understandable, but not what i really wanted to do). There are no commercially available padding kits that i can tell, and i know at least one other person expressed interest in finding a way to repad their early 80's seat. I went to a local foam shop "Bob's Foam" (love the name), and he said he could cut the foam to shape for about $70 for both seats. This was for a somewhat standard looking bit of 1" green foam... I'm going to see if there is anything better, though. So basically, some time next week, i'll be dropping off my passenger seat's foam to have it copied, and was wondering if there was any list interest in getting some sets for themselves. Unfortunately, i can't say if this'll feel great or not, but it has to be better than springs. If anyone wants to jump in, p-mail me... i won't really be able to get back to you until monday, though, since i'm taking the van to the sierras for a long weekend.
Happy driving, -Damon
