having a discussion with a non vanagon person who recommended using redline water wetter in the cooling system. i was just wondering peoples thoughts on this stuff. apperently it helps make the coolant contact more surface area and draw more heat away from the engine--and making it just run cooler. sounds strange--but does it work--or is it ill advised to put in the cooling system of a vanagon. and why were on the subject--how many people use only VW blue coolant or some other brand. I'm sure this has been covered a ton though. lots of shops are telling me that in this day and age to use whatever off the shelf coolant is out there. |
