Heat it up with a good hair dryer then take a hard plastic spatula with a good edge and scrape the letters off. Then use Goo Gone , WD40 or similar solvent to remove the glue. (you think you can just scrape it off with a razor blade but that method invariably leads to grief). BTDT John McLean 87 Vanagon GL
