That works too. Remember, my '84 doesn't have the buzzer system. Space is tight between the pushrod tubes, but if you can fit a tee fine, and I prefer rubber hoses too, copper will eventually succumb to vibration. I had a chance to test the VDO dual sender on that engine I blew up. The light flickered at 3 psi, which it would hit when I came off the freeway after a long run. Plenty of warning signs, but I chose to ignore them because I was on a trip. I may be way out in left field here, but I specifically used a single terminal sender for my VDO OP gauge. My thinking was to use the factory pressure gauge and "T" off the under the pushrod switch location and run a custom made hose up to the top of the engine block for the VDO sender. That way, the buzzer system stays intact. Do we really know for sure at what pressure the VDO dual sender throws the dash light on? How likely is it to be the same as the factory switch?
