Sunah,

For contact info re campervan rentals in Australia,do a search on the local yellow pages directory. www.yellowpages.com.au (remember the .au or you'll only get the US one...)

Pick the area you want ie, Adelaide or Sydney or wherever and search "campervan rentals"

I doubt you'll find a rear-engined VW camper for rent anymore but there are some T4 campers for rent...usually Single cab/chassis with a camper back on them. If you do contact any outlets, just don't use terms like Vanagon or Eurovan as those cheesy names aren't used anywhere else in the world outside US/Canada. Just ask about VW campervans...

If you want to call any firms,(and remember the significant time zone differential) to call from overseas, instead of calling the number you will see in the yellow pages, ie for Adelaide is area code 08 ,then the local number XXXX XXXX, you need to call 61 8 then the local 8 digit number. Of course, most of them will probably have an email address but not necessarily all.

Also,be aware of the distances you'll be travelling...even from Adelaide,Ceduna is approx another 750kms to drive... If you start from Sydney for example, add another 1800kms to that...and that's one-way - ...then you gotta get back again.... Plan on taking everything you need too,cos there aint much in Ceduna and it will be packed there during the eclipse.

If I can be of further assistance, just lemme know...
