Why not do what most people do and wrap a chain or heavy rope around the tranny, and pass that rope around a 4 x 4 that traverses the open bay? $7, 10 minutes. Fail safe.

I need to know everything about these bolts. Mainly the girth and thread pitch. Soon I will be towing a Vanagon with no engine and I need to fabricate a support for the transmission (while being 60 miles away from the van.....ie I can't go look for myseslf). Thanks in advance. John
