I'm running Yoko 356s on my '87 Vanagon and they're quite good...much better than the passenger car tires I had on previously. If you go to:

search for the Vanagon and that should be one of those choices. I got mine from Tire Rack since the local "tire" shop said "How com' you ain't got a third number on that tahr code, boy?" when I asked about getting a replacement 185/R14.

I'm running Michelin Agilis on the '85 Camper and those are good, but expensive. Last time I checked, Tire Rack was getting low on those.
