Don't think it was a Westy. Think the rear deck was stock, wouldn't want it other wise. Didn't drive it or see it really, just drove into the parking lot.

My TDI revs to 4700, that's only 5 hundred below what my van's red line is and I almost never rev the van over 4200 max, usually 4K. Fast enough for me and the TDI would do the same.
