Greg, You're so right about a lack of Vanagon parts (Westy or not) here in CT. I ended up building my own cabinet, installing wire shelves, my second battery (and switch-controlled charging relay), a 110Vac ground-fault protected outlet, tied to a 300 watt modified sine wave type inverter. Go for the biggest wattage you think you might need, and if you draw less wattage, less use on the aux. battery! That's one advantage to modified sine types. (plus they're cheaper) Have fun, and let us know how the light upgrade went! Doug '90 GL

Finding a rear gray cabinet to fit behind the full width rear seat (that I can pick up in the Connecticut area) has been pretty much fruitless so far. Anyways want to add a 110VAC inverter for general use but have no idea what size or type to get. > > Sine or modified sine wave output? > > Load? 200 watt or 1KW or more? > > WALMART and WWW.MPJA..COM seem to have good prices. > > Any advice would be gratefully appreciated. > > Greg > > _____________________________________________________________ > Play the Elvis® Scratch & Win for your chance to instantly win $10,000 Cash > - a 2003 Harley Davidson® Sportster® - 1 of 25,000 CD's - and more! > http://r.lycos.com/r/sagel_mail_scratch_tl/http://win.ipromotions.com/lycos_020801/index.asp?tc=7087
