Dana,

I've done it. It is a very big job. Very big. I got an a/c system from a 91 westy and put it in my 87. You basically have to pull the entire interior out. I'm exagerating but you do have to pull the rear cabinet, roof-bed, side shelves, etc. The wiring isn't easy either. This is especially interesting if/when you upgrade the radiator fan. People say not to bother with this upgrade but it does help the a/c's system performance so I think it's worthwhile.

Did I mention it's a big job?
