Hi, fellow Tiico converts, My fuel pressure regulator did what everyone else's did today, that is start spraying fuel all over the engine bay. The stupid rubber cap split on 2 sides. Luckily, I was poking around in the engine bay today. That's when I noticed my back seat getting damp from fuel. Crap! Stinky car for a while. Most of it fell on some plastic, so it didn't soak in. Lucky me. I put an even worse rubber cap on, clamped it and drove quickly to my FLAPS (which now stands for Florida Auto Parts Store). Got the injector-strength hose & clamps. Drove quickly back home. The crappy little rubber cap I put on exploded as soon as I pulled on it. Hose, clamps, and a bolt, and I'm back in business. I should have listened, and taken care of it before it blew up, but I didn't. Others, take heed! Bill Marshall 85 GL Tiico "Pandora's Box" Bradenton FL |
