The thread on VW solar battery panels and other brands brings up something I've been wondering about. I have a panel I bought from Real Goods (well, from Jade Mountain who merged back into RG, actually...whatever ;-) and the plug holds fine in my Mazda but is loosey goosey in the van; my 12 cooler plugs in fine in both vehicles, my little air ionizer plugs in fine in the Mazda but is loose in the vanagon. I bought a replacement cigarette lighter for the van from a place specializing in VWs and Audis, and the same thing. So-- is this some special sort of cigarette lighter that I need to get an adapter for? --Patrice 85GL "VanaBlue" |
